Apostle Anselm Madubuko says a number of envious Nigerian women walked out of his ministry after he walked down the aisle with Emmy Kosgei.
They got married in August 2013 in a colorful wedding held in both Kenya and Nigeria. While we thought everybody was happy for Emmy and Madubuko, a section of female worshippers at The Revival Assembly Church couldn’t stand the two exchanging vows so they opted to quit the church.
Speaking Nigeria’s Sunday Punch, Apostle Madubuko says marrying Emmy Kosgei made a number of women abandon his ministry.
The man of God says most Nigerian women in his church thought he would marry either of them when his first wife, Connie Madubuko, passed on.
Hopeful female faithful were enraged by his decision to ‘import’ a wife from Kenya and jealously drove them out of The Revival Assembly Church.
“We did not need to convince anyone, but some women in church thought I should have married them instead. They felt they could tell me how to lead my life. Many people left the church after I married her. It was terrible experience but I thank God that I did not miss it.” Apostle Madubuko told Sunday Punch.
