Wanjiru Mbugua started off as a news anchor at KBC while her twin Jamila anchored the news on NTV.
While Jamila stayed in the media, hosting the highly-rated ‘Faraja’ , Wanjiru disappeared from the limelight to become a PR& Marketing Expert.
Before resurfacing as an M.D at Diamond Media Kenya here she also hosts the ‘Keeping Watch’ segment on Diamond TV.
Away from work, Jamila is a mother to pair of teens and it’s amazing how young she looks despite having two grown boys.

A look she attributes to positive thinking, God's favor & Peace that comes from Him, good genes, good eating habits, less alcohol, enough sleep.
A strict skin regimen of moisturizing, toning and cleansing the skin also keeps her looking as fresh as a daisy.
